- Zokkiie-1 d.This one has such a great atmosphere. The carnival setting is awesome and gives the movie a really creepy vibe that makes it stand out from a lot of other slashers from the time. Once they actually get stuck inside the funhouse, it becomes surprisingly tense. The whole movie just has this dirty, grimy feel to it that really works. It does take a while to get going, and the first half is definitely a bit slow. Some of the characters aren't all that memorable either. Still, once things finally kick in, I had a really good time with it. Not one of Hooper's absolute best, but definitely one of those underrated early 80s horror movies that deserves more love.
