- Dustin Graves-7 d.I was fascinated with this film as a kid who frequented Blockbuster every weekend to pick out a movie and a video game to rent. I picked this one weekend when I was about 9 years old, and as soon as the dancers started shaking their bare boobs in the beginning at the strip club, my mom refused to let me finish it. After that I'd always walk by the VHS box, staring and wondering. Now 33 years later, after finally watching the entire film—I'm a bit disappointed. Rutger Hauer is fantastic and the concept, costumes, and effects are all pretty good. The sets, vehicles, and creature design all leave much to be desired unfortunately. The villain just looks like a rejected draft for the xenomorph in Alien. Not to mention the poorly paced, boring second act. It didn't quite live up to my childhood hype, but I still had fun with it.

He soon discovers what he is hunting might not be human. Still not bad after all these years. Kind of a "Predator" type flick for lack of a whole synopsis. Big evil alien being hunted by the psycho cop below.
