All the actors did a great job One thing that I didn't understand and perhaps someone could explain it is why the 2 leading ladies still kept their long hair. Also at the beginning of the film when they were getting off the train there was a beautiful lady with her husband and another well dressed man with them. What happened to him ?

"Sobibor" is based on the history of the Sobibór extermination camp uprising during WWII and Soviet officer Alexander Pechersky. When he was a POW in Sobibor, he managed to do the impossible - to organize a revolt and mass escape of the prisoners. Many of the escapees were later caught and died - the rest led by Pechersky managed to join the partisans.
