- ricomckee8. mars 2026Probably the most underrated Scream movie in the entire franchise. However, it accurately predicted Gen Z and Gen Alphas obsession with video Social Media platforms. And their obsession with likes and followers and thier validation to determine if they are leading a worthwhile life.

- Ajay17. februar 2026The return of Ghostface is quite good, honestly. This flick has more twists and turns than a rollercoaster, and it constantly keeps you guessing from start to finish. The great cast and improved cinematography help support a fresh(er) take on the story for the fourth installment, and it shows. The best part about SCRE4M is the total depravity it dives into, and that's exactly what I want to see from a horror movie.

- Kevin Ward3. juli 2025Still fun. Did not remember half the cast and cameos that were in this, so that’s always a nice surprise. Alison Brie, Kristen Bell, Anna Paquin, Anthony Anderson. You definitely feel the premise being stretched to the limit in this one. The fact that everyone in this world is 1000% committed to the fact that these real life murders have to somehow adhere to the rules of a horror franchise. Didn’t care much for the killer or their motive this time around. Still has some pretty brutal knife kills.

- LivewireAdmin2. desember 2025I've always said that this was my second favorite after the original but after re-watching the trilogy, I might give 2 the edge over 4. I still highly enjoy the characters in this one, the dialogue, the bonkers opening of Stab 5 being the opening of Stab 6 being the opening of Scream 4....amazing stuff. You also can't beat this one in terms of cameos—Lucy Hale, Anna Paquin, Kristen Bell, Aimee Teegarden, Heather Graham. The villain reveal gets a lot of hate (at least in my circles) but I always thought it worked. Craven did a great job of bringing Scream into the digital age, It's a shame we never got any more entries with him.

Overall: Scream 4 is a solid return to Woodsboro, mixing nostalgia with modern horror elements. It successfully updates the series for a new generation while keeping the classic suspense and self-aware humor. Though not quite as groundbreaking as the original, it’s an entertaining slasher for both old and new fans.
