- Smoothnick3513. august 2026Remains a masterpiece
- Aaron Savage31. juli 2026If Scarface was a half an hour shorter or a bit faster paced, then it would easily be a 4.5 or 5/5. Goodfellas is still my favorite.
- MR_BigTime23. juli 2026Far from perfect, Scarface is still one of the best movies of the genre, and the era as a whole. Is it dated? Of course it is. It's a 43-year-old movie. Is it predictable? Especially if you're only recently watching it for the first time, after so many others that may have as well borrowed from it. Is it all over the place? Some times, though not often enough to be unwatchable.
- Bergmannkiszelybende18. juli 2026Best movie oat. Al pacinos best work.
- Fire Lansky10. juni 2026This movie resonates with young men because Tony Montana’s struggle is their struggle. He’s tired of communism. He knows what America is and can be. He only wants money, power, and women. Bankers are robbing him. The government is monitoring him. The people around him have zero morals, willing to kill women and children… and yet he pushes on, fighting until the inevitable end. Also, DePalma makes a decent movie, and this is no exception. The cinematography pops and the soundtrack has aged better than anyone expected it to. Watch with your kids for a fun family night.
