- Fire Lansky10. juni 2026This movie resonates with young men because Tony Montana’s struggle is their struggle. He’s tired of communism. He knows what America is and can be. He only wants money, power, and women. Bankers are robbing him. The government is monitoring him. The people around him have zero morals, willing to kill women and children… and yet he pushes on, fighting until the inevitable end. Also, DePalma makes a decent movie, and this is no exception. The cinematography pops and the soundtrack has aged better than anyone expected it to. Watch with your kids for a fun family night.

This method acting masterpiece is so uncanny you will believe Pacino was actually Tony Montana in a previous life. The lead performance, in all obvious hindsight, should of course have carried an Oscar nomination and so should the film itself. Neither recieved one. Instead 4/5 movies in both categories are unrecognizable today. Proof that Hollywood is currently and always has been full of 💩. 9.8/10⭐
