- benjami716121. september 2026Probably not the first time a Tradie called Deano takes advantage of a woman, and probably not the last. A fun movie but wouldn’t translate to the UK as Deano probably wouldn’t have turned up to do the job in the first place.
- Vincent Reggiannini26. januar 2026I know I might be opening myself up for endless ridicule, but I like this movie. The premise is creepy and borderline predatory, but it’s not a serious movie. The jokes are also surprisingly raunchy for a seemingly “family-oriented movie”, but Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel’s timing and chemistry is apparent on-screen. They each portray their characters like cartoon characters, and contributes to some guarded laughs. The movie owes its “success” to Hawn and Russel, both American icons and I think the movie deserves some leeway regarding its absurd premise.
- RichColemantx25. januar 2026One of the greatest (and mostly overlooked today) 80s movies of all time.
