Through the eyes and experiences of surfers and locals alike, the film takes a thought-provoking look into environmental destruction at surf spots like Trestles in Southern California, breaks in Southern Chile threatened by pulp mills, Teahupoo and its growing popularity, mainland Mexico, the North Shore Hawaii near the Turtle Bay, and beyond. OUT THERE captures a compelling story about the surfing lifestyle amidst the destruction of some of the sport's favorite breaks.
