- MrTrivet2. februar 2026The fourth Omen feels like a completely bland and cheap production, as if it was made more out of a need to revive the series than from any real idea for continuing the story. What drove me up the wall was the absurd soundscape, with the filmmakers constantly forcing emotions onto every scene in a heavy-handed way, practically treating the viewer like an idiot. Many years passed between the original The Omen trilogy and this entry, and it clearly shows in the way the film is shot and produced. Unfortunately, the change in style works against it - rather than the heavy, ominous atmosphere of the originals, we get a flat, television-like aesthetic that lacks any real character. The whole thing feels a bit like the later Home Alone spin-offs: derivative, poorly executed, and without any identity of their own. It’s hard to judge child actors too harshly, but the film is also hurt by the young lead actress, who unfortunately doesn’t carry the role (although, to be fair, she did manage to perfect a pretty menacing stare). It’s really not worth watching.

Damien Thorn is dead, but his prophecy is reborn in a mysterious girl named Delia, who is adopted by two attorneys, Gene & Karen York. When Karen realizes her baby was born under suspicious circumstances, she hires a private investigator to find Delia's real parents. A series of bizarre accidents occur, and Karen begins to suspect everyone of conspiring against her as she unravels the truth about her baby.
