This movie relies to a large degree on the performance of Jake Gyllenhaal. and what a performance it is! his co-stars deliver the goods also, rene russo being chief amongst them. i would have pereferred a more definitive ending but that is a subjective and minor complaint. Excellent movie and well worth your time!

Jake Gyllenhall delivers an excelent performance but the story didn't catch me. A sociopath founds a company delivering news footage to a network station and doesn't care at all how many people have to die for his sucess. It's fine but a bit boring at times.
