The gangster Nino has a gang who call themselves Cash Money Brothers. They get into the crack business and not before long they make a million dollars every week. A cop, Scotty, is after them. He tries to get into the gang by letting an ex-drug addict infiltrate the gang, but the attempt fails miserably. The only thing that remains is that Scotty himself becomes a drug pusher.

- Doc Worm20. januar 2026Chris Rock crying while smoking crack during a lightning storm over a wailing guitar riffs playing in the background was the highlight for me. A garish and cartoony 90s urban exploitation film, New Jack City is a lot of fun if not completely bonkers and ridiculous. The exaggerated camera angles, set design, costuming and over the top performances make this movie. Parts of this I wondering if it had more in common with Batman & Robin or Juice.
