One of the best horror movies I’ve seen. LOVED it.

Creepy...More like the Exorcist than a 'Mummy' movie.

“I can fix her.” 😂 Bring Her Back. No, wait, actually…..no, you can keep her. Vampires and zombies and mummies - oh my! (God, Jack O’Connell can you be in more classic horror baddies films) [edit: got Jack Reynor and O’Connell mixed up, whoops. Keeping it for the joke] One of the most sickening horror flicks I’ve ever seen. And it’s filled with so much Raimism that Sam not getting an EP credit feels disingenuous I’m talking Drag Me to Hell levels of gross out horror. As Cam’ron once said, “This shit’ll disgust ya!” Scary, revolting, tense - some surprisingly good shit! Buttoned-up ending may have been a tad much but hey it was supposed to be a blockbuster film so I don’t blame them. Impressive darling, hilarious, and terrifying performances from the children! You obviously feel terrible for the main girl but I feel so bad for the little girl. Can you imagine being that scared of your own sister in your own house? Like Insidious on steroids Another movie for my animal lover friends to stay away from smh “Take a load off, granny” is more like it, amirite Go see it in IMAX! This film deserves better than the box office performance it’s receiving! Watched in IMAX at Warren Regal West Currently Ranked #18/52 in 2026 Ranked

This movie had a lot of potential. It started very strong, I loved where the story was going but it slowly evolved into basically the evil dead/the exorcist meets the Mummy. It had some good moments though.

Total garbage. Save yourself and go watch paint dry instead.

This is a handsome, nasty horror movie that wisely wants nothing to do with the Brendan Fraser or Tom Cruise versions, and I actually appreciated that. It feels much more like a mix of Middle Eastern mythology, The Exorcist, and even a little of the 1980s movie The Hidden than a traditional mummy film. It’s beautifully shot, with some really interesting camera-angle work, and a few of the gross body-horror scenes are excellent. But one of the movie’s main problems is that it’s hard to pin down exactly what the antagonist even is, and because of that, the scares are not as effective as they should be. Some scenes were also confusing, not in a good mysterious way, but more in a “the director should have communicated this differently” way. The back-and-forth structure took a little getting used to, and the chanting to lock away the evil almost felt more Asian than Egyptian or Middle Eastern. It’s worth seeing for the visuals and body horror, but once it’s over, it mostly fades except for a few standout images.

    What a load of crap……

A creepy horror movie that could be "The Exorcist" of this generation. It has a plethora of body horror, jump scares, and shock factor. You will never view a fruit rollup unraveling the same way again.

I'm a bit disappointed... The beginning is nice, then, like most such films, it turns into boredom and disgust.....

Quite a few reviewers I watch and respect said this movie wasn't worth watching. I disagree. It's not a perfect film but I enjoyed it. My daughter liked it too. Definitely not for the faint of heart - it's got some serious stomach turning moments. I think the way it ended was perfect for what we were given story wise as well. If you're not adverse to gore, give it a shot. It's better than I was expecting all around.

A big stupid over long convoluted mess of a movie that is full of plot holes and cliches. However- it is entertaining as hell. The whole third act was basically an evil dead movie and it was incredible to watch in a semi populated theater and hearing everyone squirm and groan. Annoying AF that they explain the plot multiple times throughout. Can definitely see why this one is getting a lot of hate, but it’s not nearly as bad as people are making it out to be.

Scary, gory, disgusting and beautiful, felt like the classic evil dead. Not many horror movies like this one these days

The director abuses shots with double focus even to frame a remote control. We get it, Lee, you studied technique, that's enough. Verdict: A visceral and “rude” horror that mummifies the expectations of those looking for pop action. Promoted for the stomach, postponed for the heart. Rating: 6.5
