- Mister Arn28. juni 2026“Laramie” is one of the Durango Kid movies, complete with a young boy, plenty of gunfights, horseback chases, and the comic relief of Smiley Burnette. There's one memorable scene involving a long note in a yodel, but otherwise the story is pretty thin and mostly serves as a backdrop for the action. It's not as entertaining as an episode of Rawhide, and the humor doesn't add much. If you're a devoted fan of 40’s Westerns or the Durango Kid series, it's worth a look. Otherwise, there are many better Westerns to spend your time on.

A major Indian uprising is expected and Wyoming military posts are alerted. Colonel Dennison is meeting with Chief Eagle and his son Running Wolf when Chief Eagle is mysteriously shot. Steve Holden, an agent for the government peace commission, with the aid of a wandering shoemaker, Smiley, discover the troubles and the Chief's murder have been instigated by Cronin, the regimental scout, for personal gain for he and his gang of outlaws.
