- MrTrivet10. mars 2026Watching the series in chronological order can create a sense of fatigue and repetition, but it is clear that with each installment the creators refine their own horror language, which reaches a mature form in this entry. It is an investigative horror, where uncovering the mystery behind the terror is just as important as the frightening moments themselves. The fear does not rely on sudden jumpscares - supernatural forces appear slowly and torment their victims over time, creating an atmosphere of unease and tension, while the characters often remain paralyzed by fear or the strangeness of the situation. The film is well acted and narratively coherent, but in my view it will provide the greatest satisfaction to those who have already emotionally invested in the story of this terrifying house. The motif of the cursed pregnancy of the heroine is particularly twisted and serves as a powerful, suggestive ending that lingers in the memory.
