- macaronz10. mai 2026I recently watched Jalebi. Like most Mahesh Bhatt productions, the music is excellent, but the film itself was just average for me. My interpretation of the ending is that Dev realized he and Aisha could never be truly happy together, so he chose to leave. It felt less like he was freeing her to be independent and more like he was simply walking away. The film tries to suggest she found her own path, but it fails to convincingly show that she actually found happiness being alone. It's an okay watch, but it didn't quite hit the mark.
