- tellum12. mars 2026The messaging in the movie is really profound, but the execution couldn’t be more clumsy. Outside of the premise, every decision made is questionable from plot points, to dialogue, to acting, and to the resolution. Honestly this is a movie that begs for a remake because the idea could make such a strong statement about class warfare and the 2 tier justice system, but this is not it.

Sure it's formula but hard to find movies that aren't. I think it's worth a watch just to consider and really think about the point it's making and how much your time is worth to you...

Where “In Time” stumbles is in how it develops its brilliant premise. It sets the stage for something profound but doesn’t always follow through on the deeper questions it raises. At times, the film trades substance for spectacle, which keeps it engaging but limits its impact. Still, it’s a stylish, entertaining sci-fi thriller with a fresh idea and a confident sense of identity. “In Time” may not fully live up to the potential of its premise, but it offers enough originality and atmosphere to make it worth every minute of your attention.
