- Michael Brandon Music27. mars 2025Great movie. Watching this for the first time since it came out when I watched it in a theater. Kinda wild we are actually seeing robots being produced now. The movie is set just 10 years into our future in 2035. Makes you wonder LOL

The story is really good, grips you throughout and is carried along at a good pace. It is not a film that over dwells on the 'marvels' of the technology or the beaty of shots as some sci-fi films do. Although it is well shot and the CGI is great. You are easily convinced with the world that is displayed. That robots are a fully acepted and trusted part of this world's daily life. As it was filmed as a detective story, you only really learn what Will Smith discovers, which really works as a story device. The robot Sunny and in particular the portrayal of his facial expressions help make the film. The robots are definitely not just men in suits.
