- Peter Bickford-5 tDisjointed, unfulfilling movie which--despite a great premise and decent actors--fails to deliver from either a plot or character viewpoint. Short, cynical summary: a bunch of twenty somethings cause an improbable tech catastrophe which even more improbably ends modern civilization. To cope, they all decamp to a buddy's place in rural Northern California where they proceed to get on each other's nerves until the host kicks them out again. Oh, and an underdeveloped subplot about bikers, jealous neighbors, and a couple of rapey rogue National guardsmen results in one death and two owies to thumbs. The end.
