This film has always been a favorite of mine, but revisiting it now brings out a deeper emotional connection that I did not fully appreciate when I was younger. What makes this movie so powerful is the emotional beginning that shapes Marlin as a father. His fear, pain, and determination guide every choice he makes, and watching him learn to face the world again gives the story a strong sense of growth. He is a character who starts with deep loss and overwhelming worry, yet he slowly finds courage through love. That transformation makes the entire adventure feel real and moving. The animations are smooth and really bring the characters to life, from the occasional bubble of surprise to the flipping of their fins. The scenery is vibrant and teeming with life, so engrossing that it pulls you right into the story. The action sequences—and I use this word lightly—are often funny and perfect for younger audiences. The characters are all so loveable, quirks and all.
