Nia (Kristen Stewart) and Silas (Nicholas Hoult) begin a forbidden and passionate romance in a futuristic society where emotions have been outlawed, leading them to attempt a dangerous escape in this enthralling sci-fi love story.
- MaxRider4. mai 2026Drake Doremus directed and came up with the story, but Nathan Parker wrote the screenplay. The final film feels caught between two different visions . it has beautiful, minimalist visuals and a very restrained tone, but the story and dialogue often feel flat and underdeveloped. The movie looks great but lacks emotional punch. It’s a classic case of a film where the director and writer weren’t completely in sync, and you can kind of feel that disconnect while watching it.
