Regissert av Antonio MerceroA farmer discovers a Celtiberian treasure in a town in Castilla. Archaeology professor Jerónimo Otero, is sent to quantify the find and continue the excavations, along with four students. Among them is Marga, an attractive 18-year old girl with whom Otero is romantically involved. The archaeologist's arrival in the village creates an atmosphere of mistrust and hostility among the inhabitants, culminating in a fatal outburst of violence.
