Who knew a couple of YouTubers would establish themselves as masters of horror so quickly? I already can't wait to see what they do next.

Talk To Me was an amazing debut and Bring Her Back is an incredible follow up. Creepy and bleak as all hell, this was a disturbing and hands down not feel good movie of the year. Cast was amazing but the obvious standout is Sally Hawkins. The bros knew what was up, you get mother fucking Sally Hawkins as a lead in your movie and you let her cook, and cook she did. The range of her performance throughout was mesmerizing, one second she's making you laugh the next your stressed and horrified. It's the same Oscar horror movie ignorance that robbed Toni Collette & Mia Goth that will no doubt rob Hawkings of the nomination her performance deserves. Hopefully the grim and unrelenting dread this movie induces doesn't keep people away, if you are a horror fan you are doing yourself a disservice not seeing this gem on the big screen. Highly Recommended! 👍👍 8.5/10

My family has experienced that. You have no idea what a mother would do to have one more moment with her. This honestly broke my heart , and I cried. A+

Sally Hawkins delivers a credible performance, yet the film is not carried by a single name - the younger cast displays a level of maturity rarely seen in graphic genre cinema. Acting forms the foundation here: intense and free from the usual bluntness of horror. The filmmakers let emotions resonate so that the inevitable shock value feels fully justified. The strange, understated opening quickly reveals itself as a deliberate device - a slow descent into existential despair. Particularly striking is the motif of a witch hurriedly trying to fill gaps in her knowledge, learning rituals from decaying VHS tapes. Magic is portrayed as filthy, uncertain, and lethally dangerous. Brutal body-horror imagery and spine-chilling sound perfectly complement the tension built in the first half. The ending rejects easy comfort, offering no relief to the viewer. A truly outstanding horror.
- Tom Majski27. januar 2026Wow, I wasn't expecting that. I mean I don't know what I was expecting but this ended up going kinda hard. There's plenty of shocking visuals and set pieces here and loads and loads of tension but what got me is the themes of utter betrayal of trust. Kids that have been let down time and time again just being abused and betrayed. Add Piper's sight to the mix and you really have this awful narrative that is as direct as it is metaphore for the total let down and selfishness purpotrated by people. What's really really cool though, is how serious work like that is tied up into a full on horror movie with all the bodies, gore and scares you need. It just works out really well even though its bleak as all shit! Bravo, but i feel rubbish now and I need to go to bed.

The more you analyze the videotape she’s watching, you start to realize even darker shit happening in the background. You start to realize the movie is hinting at this underground black-market for fucked up occult items. There’s an irl website pertaining to this, look it up. There are so many layers to this film. An absolute masterpiece of horror. This stuck with me for a good week after watching it. It’s such a fucked up film. Amazing cast, powerful performances. Cringe inducing body horror. Watch this.
