- brhbrhbrh21. september 2026a tragedy of a woman who was never loved. the more i think about Birth the more i think i like it. i didn’t understand her character at all, at first. her actions and feelings were unreasonable and difficult to watch. that was until we find out her husband had a mistress. her husband didn’t love her but this child is offering her devotion and i think her want of that is what devours her. she’s so desperate for love she’s willing to sacrifice the innocence of a 10 year old boy to get it. ending with her lost, hopelessly clinging to another loveless marriage.
- godzill41626. april 2025Kidman was great alongside Sean's actor, and the concept truly was unique and cool, giving way to a certain anti-empathetic tone. Like you can't attempt to relate to Anna because this situation is so fucking weird. Cool effect. However, there is some problem. Pacing? Plot? Storytelling? Kind of frustrating that I can't pinpoint the issue in the movie. Not too shabby, overall.
