    A woman goes to an emergency room complaining of severe abdominal pain. Doctor’s find that her pain is actually a miscarriage though  she didn’t know that she was pregnant. The woman is subsequently arrested for murder/infanticide and sent to prison for years awaiting trial. The film tracks the legal battle to get her out. Incredibly infuriating. When laws are constructed purely to draw political lines (eg criminalize abortion), they completely disregard the health and well-being of the women caught between.
