Probably the best [metal] concert that will ever be. 10/5 stars Honestly, it just felt like all the great names in metal got together, and had a fun hangout/jam session to support the godfather of metal, the one and only, The Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne. Parts of so many different bands, all mashing it up onstage, playing historic covers, rocking out, providing some of the best live music performances I've ever seen in my life. Hands down. EVERYONE came out to perform, to be a fan, and to be there to witness the most amazing farewell concert there has ever been. Even if you're not a fan of Metal music, it's so worth a watch. This wasn't just a farewell concert, This was music history. “I love you all. I love you more than life itself, but you’re all fucking mad.” -Ozzy Osbourne to his family – 2002

This concert hits hard in every way. A Powerful Return to Roots captures Black Sabbath back where it all started in Birmingham, and they don’t hold back. It’s raw, it’s loud, and it’s everything metal fans could want. Ozzy, Tony, Geezer, and Bill come together one last time to remind the world why they’re the godfathers of heavy metal. The energy is unreal. Iommi’s guitar is sharp as ever, Geezer’s bass rumbles like thunder, and Ozzy… damn, Ozzy still had it. You could tell his body was struggling, but his spirit? Still wild, still defiant. Hearing him belt out “War Pigs” and “Paranoid” one more time was enough to give chills. And now knowing this was his final performance, it hits even harder. Ozzy passed away just weeks after this show at 76. It’s heartbreaking. But what a way to go out. He gave everything he had left to that night. You could feel it. This wasn’t just a concert. It was his goodbye. There’s a public funeral procession planned in Birmingham, going right past the Black Sabbath bridge. Fans from around the world are showing up to pay their respects. And they should. Ozzy wasn’t just a rock star. He was a force. He was chaos and heart and weirdness and brilliance all wrapped into one. If you love Sabbath, or just music with real soul, watch this concert. It’s a love letter to where it all began and a perfect farewell to the Prince of Darkness. Rest in power, Ozzy. You were one of a kind.
