- cultfilmliker6. juni 2025A more explicit version of the same themes featured in The Hunt. (And also guilt and grief obviously) BY FAR, the most uncomfortable laughter I have ever experienced. God I feel sick and enraged….deranged. Renate Reinsve had to have been dehydrated for a week after filming those scenes Watching such a dolled up, objectively gorgeous woman bawl is….not fun! Might have just noticed how similar looking she is to a girl I had a fling with a decade ago and that does not help! Hilarious that I didn’t even realize that it’s the same actress from The Worst Person in the World and A Different Man smh Between this and The Innocents (2021, not 1961), Ellen Dorrit Petersen plays a concerned mother extremely well! Love how it’s beautifully shot on film. Love the typical ideas of emotional collectivity and community that continually permeate Scandinavian films!
