This was an excellent emotional watch. Every character was portrayed masterfully. Imtiaz did a fantastic job capturing the fancy of a dying old man played by Naseeruddin Shah, who actually outdid himself here. Wrapping up the entire story of the partition of India and the atrocities that followed. The trauma that's deep-rooted in the lives of the people living in both sides of the border and how it haunts them till their dying breath.
