Season 1 is as close to perfect as you can get, easily the best Star Wars has been since like 1983. Felt pretty let down by a lot of season 2 if I’m honest… it was still pretty good but it lost the tightness of season 1 and gained a LOT of fat. People compare the opening arcs of seasons 1 and 2 and say they’re both slow, but where season 1 is a slow burn and a masterclass of dialogue, visuals, music, etc; season 2 is comic relief and bloat and a spoon-fed cartoon. Ik I gave this five stars and that’s because season 1 is genuinely incredible and I don’t really care about season 2. Krennick never takes off his gloves or his cape like I’m sorry that’s a comic book villain in a costume not a character in a dramaAndor
