- ርልዪረ31 januari 2025After 10 years of Are You Being Served the staff of Grace Bros are back and instead of the department store they now are in a country house hotel thanks to the late young Mr Grace who put their pensions into buying this property in which now they have to make money instead of retirement. It's written by the original creators and has the same charm and with new characters as well as our trusted friends minus one Mr Lucas or Mr Spooner we still get loads of laughter with Captain Peacock, Mr Rumbold, Miss Brahms, along with Mr Humphries and Mrs Slocombe who yes we do actually see the cat. Shame we only got 2 series but at least we have further fun and chaos with our favorite dysfunctional staff. If you are looking for decent and funny classic comedy than this is a must have.

Het warenhuis Grace Brothers heeft haar deuren gesloten. Capt. Peacock, Mr. Humphries, Mrs Slocombe en Ms. Brahms zijn Mr. Grace tot het einde trouw gebleven en hebben daarom recht op hun pensioengeld. Dit blijkt echter belegd te zijn in een hotel, Millstone Manor genaamd, op het Engelse platteland. Het viertal besluit natuurlijk om direct af te reizen, zodat ze met eigen ogen kunnen zien of hun pensioen goed beheerd wordt. Bij aankomst treffen ze echter een leeg hotel, van het personeel is geen spoor meer te bekennen. Deze blijken allemaal de benen te hebben genomen nadat Mr. Rumbold er als manager is gaan werken. Er zit daarom voor ons viertal niets anders op dan de handen uit de mouwen te steken en zelf het hotel te gaan runnen.
