Goober, a dog who turns invisible when frightened, is the pet dog of the staff of fictional "Ghost Chasers" magazine (investigator Ted, writer Tina and photographer Gilly). The gang travels all over the world investigating reports of ghosts and other paranormal phenomena. Often joining the ghost chasers in their adventures are Laurie, Danny, Chris and Tracey Partridge.
