She looks harmless enough, but beneath the uniform lies something closer to a vengeful demon, part trickster and part executioner. Each episode — especially in the first season — stands largely on its own, but a subtle arc builds beneath the chaos. Nanno’s moral compass is clear: she punishes only those who truly deserve it. Later episodes, however, introduce characters that challenge and complicate that sense of justice, making the show even more unsettling and thought-provoking. Stylistically, it’s closer to Japanese horror like The Ring than to glossy American thrillers.
