- Razorbitz2 dgn geledenA mostly forgotten comedy gem that doubles down on absurdity with each season before circling back into becoming some fairly compelling Sci-fi. First season is the objective best, and Keith David is the reason. That man chews scenes like they owe him money. It also has the best bits for the cast (I love Wolf's growth) and the legendary James Cameron house episode, which might be an all time great for me. Season 2 and 3 exist in a happy state of "Yes, and" scenarios, but never quite recapture the tight plotting of Season 1 until right near the end. Even at its weaker plotlines it still got smiles out of me, if not laughter. The whole is worth it of course! Don't miss this one

Starring Josh Hutcherson (of Hunger Games fame) as Josh Futturman, an unassuming janitor and gamer who’s suddenly pulled into a real-life mission to prevent humanity’s extinction, it’s equal parts time-travel adventure and absurd satire. What follows is a hilarious cascade of paradoxes, culture shocks, and cause-and-effect disasters, as Josh and his future-born companions try — and repeatedly fail — to fix the timeline. Every trip through history introduces new problems, stranger customs, and plenty of awkward encounters that leave our hero perpetually out of his depth. It’s a much lighter, sillier ride than Hutcherson’s darker roles, but he nails the comedic tone, proving he can handle both drama and ridiculousness with ease. The writing balances clever sci-fi ideas with outrageous humour, never taking itself too seriously — even when the fate of the world’s on the line. Fast, funny, and full of heart, Future Man is the kind of show that reminds you saving humanity might just be the messiest job in the multiverse.
