Tricia Pifer
Tricia Pifer is an American visual effects producer. Based in Los Angeles, California, she studied Communications and Video Production at the State University of New York at Fredonia, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. Before entering the visual effects industry, she worked in television production management, including positions with ABC News and Good Morning America, and also served as a studio coordinator for The Jim Henson Company in New York.
Pifer transitioned into visual effects production in the early 2000s through work with Entity FX, where she worked on Supernatural (2005), Night Stalker (2005), Scary Movie 4 (2006), Into the Wild (2007), and The Air I Breathe (2007).
She later joined Frantic Films and Prime Focus, where she served as head of production and visual effects producer on Rush Hour 3 (2007), G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009), and The Maiden Heist (2009). At Prime Focus, she was also a digital producer on Avatar (2009). She then became involved in stereoscopic and 3D conversion work, serving as stereo conversion producer on Kung Fu Panda (2008) and the remastered version of Havoc in Heaven (1961).
Pifer joined Technicolor in 2012, first as a senior visual effects producer and later as executive producer for the company's production services division in Hollywood. During her tenure she supervised and managed visual effects work on Oblivion (2013), Thor: The Dark World (2013), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), Ant-Man (2015), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), The Revenant (2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Doctor Strange (2016), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Thor: Ragnarok (2017), and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
In television, Pifer served as a visual effects producer or executive producer on The Good Wife (2009), Awake (2012), Burn Notice (2007), Rectify (2013), Sense8 (2015), True Detective (2014), Lore (2017), Big Little Lies (2017), The Loudest Voice (2019), and Messiah (2020).
Pifer later worked with Marvel Studios on several Marvel Cinematic Universe streaming projects, as visual effects marketing coordinator on WandaVision (2021), visual effects production manager on She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022), and visual effects producer on Echo (2023) and VisionQuest (2026).
