From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Richard Martin (born April 12, 1956), is an award-winning Canadian television director, film director and film editor. He was born in Vancouver and is the son of comedian Dick Martin (Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In). He and his wife, Kim Steer, have one child.
