- Paul Walsh3 dgn geledenThis film had all the right ingredients to become a favorite but falls disappointingly flat. With characteristics of Lovecraftian cosmic horror, Cronenbergian body horror and a not too subtle dash of nihilism, the movie is bleak and gross. Too bad it is also poorly conceived. The acting is okay and the movie looks good and sells its despairing tone but is oddly flat and lacks the needed oomph to push it over the finish line. Altogether Wounds is a movie that, while not terrible, could have been so much more. A very mild recommendation.
