one of my favorites, a John Hughes classic. Not sure they can even make a movie like this nowadays enjoy it while you can, truly top-notch.

This movie was funny from beginning to end. 1980s gold. If someone tried to make a movie like this now, lots of folks who don't know if they are a boy or girl would be offended.

Mot Hughes' best but a fun boys fantasy movie. Sexy creation teaches courage and self respect? Okay. Definitely left field.

A classic of my growing up. John Hughes's perfection as always.

This film hasn't aged well. I had forgotten how bad the acting was. EDIT... (I loved it when I first saw it! That Porsche 928! Wow! 😃 I thought that I would again... but growing up kinda spoils your fun sometimes 🤷🏼‍♀️).

I saw Weird Science in the cinema and it was one of those experiences that stuck with me. The film had that perfect mix of 80's charm, quirky comedy, teenage awkwardness and a wild sci-fi premise that felt both ridiculous and fun. Watching Gary and Wyatt “create” Lisa on the big screen made the absurdity even more entertaining and the energy of the theater added to the laughs. It wasn’t just about the jokes; it captured that teenage fantasy of wanting to fit in, of trying something outrageous to change your life. The movie leaned into its silliness, but that’s exactly what made it so enjoyable. By the time it ended, I felt like I’d been part of a playful ride that only the 80's could deliver.
