A love letter to John Carpenter. This is one of only a couple of films I can think of that really nailed the "Carpenteresque" vibe. This one gives you a bit of Escape from New York, a lot of Assault on Precinct 13 and a pinch of Prince of Darkness thrown in for good measure.

In a neon soaked bloodbath of a film, what stands is the chemistry between actors, and really solid action. This movie contains some of the best and most brutal kill scenes in American cinema, but keeps it moving at a relentless pace. Any fan of the action side of John Carpenter and the love of gory Italian exploitation will enjoy this movie. A really fun movie.
