- Naegi Wells26 augustus 2025A fun silly little film about an incredibly stupid premise. Not the best fun silly film, but decent enough for some laughs. I will say even though I grade this movie as a 3.5 film to play in the background, I kinda wish they made an Avengers style crossover film with characters from other similarly animated films, with Turbo as the speedster on the team, granted they made him as fast as the Flash. I could picture that film starring Gru from Despicable Me, Dracula from Hotel Transylvania, and Flint from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.XD That could've been so fun and stupid.

This film in particular is quite hard to level any constrictive criticism at purely because it knows EXACTLY what it is and has no loftier ambitions. Turbo is a basic feel-good kids movie that borrows heavily from Cars (2006). There are no real plot twists here, it's as basic a story as you'd expect. The animation style is completely inoffensive albeit somewhat bland. The same can be said for the characters, the voice actors all do a good job, but it's hard to bring your A game to a project like this. The French Man loses so it gets a pass from me. Audio and Visuals are all fine, a decent little Bluray.
