- Paul2 dgn geledenI found this movie to be good and highly entertaining, offering a really fresh take on the thriller genre. What I loved most was how the film makes you experience what having such sensitive hearing is actually like—showing it as both an incredible gift and a heavy curse, all elevated by some stellar sound design. The performances by Leo Woodall and Dustin Hoffman are fantastic, too. However, the movie lost a bit of steam for me towards the end. While it gets a bit weaker in the second half generally, my main issue was the conclusion. I personally just really wished for more of a happy ending. Still, a very unique and solid watch overall
- Rick17 mei 2026Went cause I’m a Dolby whore, and today was the only chance to see this in that format. Ended up really enjoying the movie. Time flew by, plot was engaging, and it didn’t make the mistake of throwing in some huge action set piece towards the end, like so many movies in this style would be tempted to do. They were also passing out Dustin Hoffman bobble heads for some reason. So now I have one of those. 🤷♂️
- Tyler S14 juli 2026An unexpected treat, didn't know anything other then Dustin Hoffman having a small role and that was enough to lure me in. Instantly Hoffman had me laughing out loud, with such a small role he lands a big impact as Harry Horowitz owner of piano tuning company who employs our lead Niki White played by newcomer Leo Woodall in one of my favorite performances of the year so far. Niki has a condition called hyperacusis that makes his hearing very sensitive and he has to keep earplugs in at all times to avoid the pain that comes with loud noises. What Niki discovers is that his condition not only makes him good at tuning pianos but also a master safe cracker. What follows is a very funny, heartfelt and suspenseful story executed with amazing directing and very tight editing, I'll be keeping an eye out for Daniel Roher's next movie. I also have to say the final scene in this hit me hard with the feels, this movie was just fantastic from start to finish. 👍👍 9/10
