- Rick7 juni 2025Not my favorite Chan-wook film I’ve seen, but still well worth watching. Every character is expertly written, and absolutely fucked up and depraved in one way or another - as expected. I felt like this could have been trimmed about 30 minutes and made a much tighter film. The final half hour or so was absolute perfection though. I almost started feeling bad for the mom by the end. Her situation is my worst nightmare.

Een priester houdt zich bezig met een medisch experiment, maar als de boel fout gaat, verandert hij in een vampier. Het duurt niet lang voor ook zijn leven flink begint te veranderen. Zo krijgt hij een affaire met de vriendin van een oude vriend van hem. De priester begint zich vervolgens steeds meer af te vragen hoeveel menselijkheid er nog in hem zit.
