- Kevin Ward3 juli 2025Black & White Director’s Cut I only heard about the existence of a B&W director’s cut a couple weeks ago, but wow it really elevates this film. The obvious CGI as far less pronounced and it gives the entire film that classic monster movie feel. Really loved experiencing this again. I really wish Andre Braugher’s character had made it a bit farther in the film. I think he made a better foil than Marcia Gay Harden’s prophetic religious nut. Really great monster flick though from top to bottom.
- Razorbitz29 november 2025You can tell its a Stephen King movie by the dialogue alone, but my god does this film creep under your skin with how weird it is. It's a certain kind of bleak that I adore and sits in your gut for a long while. My partner hated it! Also fun to see just how many actors got yoinked from this to the Walking Dead, but for me the movie lives and dies by just how capital E Everyman Thomas Jane is; he's a treat and I miss seeing him in roles like this. Not for everyone but a classic all the same.
- Resistance00517 december 2025First time watching right after IT Welcome To Derry last episode S01. It's not great but not bad either, its just okay. Storytelling, script could have been so much better. So many moments where 1 thing happens and a scene later they totally forget or ignore what happened before. Its a good movie to let yourself into the world of Stephen King and his imagination although the books are the true adaptations apart from what they are doing with IT now but nonetheless I enjoyed watching it.
