The Flash Ratings & Reviews
- Aaron15 februari 2026Roast Review – The Flash ⚡🔥 This movie proves one thing: Running fast doesn’t fix bad decisions — it just makes them happen quicker. Barry messes up the timeline like it’s a group chat he shouldn’t have touched, then spends the whole film going, “Wait… I can fix this,” and somehow making it worse every time. The multiverse turns into a cameo talent show, and Batman ends up being more memorable in The Flash’s own movie. That’s wild. And the CGI? Looked like the Speed Force ran out of budget. Verdict: Heart ✔️ Nostalgia ✔️ Timeline logic and graphics ❌ Still fun… but it felt like DC hit shuffle on reality 😄
- jackmeat5 februari 2026My quick rating - 6.5/10. Let’s just get this out of the way first, that CGI baby-in-the-microwave sequence looks rough. Like, “$220 million budget and still can’t beat the infamous dancing baby GIF” rough. It’s front and center, which isn't the confidence boost I wanted at the start of this long-awaited DC movie. Sadly, that moment ends up being a pretty accurate preview of The Flash as a whole. Occasionally fun, but wildly inconsistent. Directed by Andy Muschietti, The Flash makes a huge attempt at time travel and the multiverse, as Barry Allen tries to go back in time to save his family. Of course, this ruins reality, and the world becomes one where either there are no superheroes or they are very different. This is a great concept that provides a new spin on the superhero genre, although it didn’t quite go as I’m sure they had hoped. Michael Keaton’s return as Batman is, without a doubt, the highlight of this movie. He slips back into Bruce Wayne with ease, delivering a darker take on the character that brought a smile to my face. His chemistry with Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen is surprisingly effective, and their first meeting is easily one of the best scenes in the movie. Every time Keaton is on screen, the film feels more focused, more confident, and dare I say, more alive. That said, Miller remains a divisive choice as the Flash. For me, the performance still doesn’t have the charm and emotional accessibility that the character needs. The awkward humor doesn’t always work, and it’s hard not to think of how well Grant Gustin portrayed Barry Allen over the years on TV. Miller does have some moments, but they don’t quite work on the emotional level that the film is going for. Aesthetically, the movie is a mess. Some of the super-speed action is actually pretty thrilling and well-done, while other CGI-heavy moments look unfinished and ridiculously fake. When it does work, it really does work – and when it doesn’t, well, it doesn’t. Michael Shannon’s reprisal of General Zod is a welcome touch of nostalgia, although it feels more functional than fully explored. Sasha Calle’s Supergirl is a strong addition, delivering a solid performance, but it does raise questions about why the film didn’t use Melissa Benoist’s Supergirl character from the TV series (DC really doesn't get it when it comes to casting.) By the end, The Flash manages to pull itself back from being a complete disappointment thanks to Keaton’s Batman and a handful of genuinely thrilling action scenes. While it doesn’t fully justify the long wait or its massive budget, it does offer an interesting take on time manipulation and the multiverse - and maybe, just maybe, sets the stage for a more cohesive DC future under James Gunn.
- Giang Nguyễn1 februari 2026The worst flash.
- Recordedsnake24 januari 2026The Flash is a fast-paced, emotional superhero film filled with action, humor, and multiverse excitement. Ezra Miller delivers a strong performance, and Michael Keaton’s return as Batman adds a nostalgic highlight. With impressive visuals and a heartfelt story, it’s one of DC’s most entertaining movies.
- VooDue21 december 2025Cameos were fun, changing the races is GAF, but multiverse is the absolute worst. I refuse to watch anymore movies with the multiverse. It's lazy writing from a generation of writers who never had to truly work hard in life.
- TomVader4 juli 2025Ironically a better Batman movie than most Batman movies, and I appreciate that this isn't yet another origin story. (YES, I KNOW THIS IS THE FLASH, LOOK AT THE COVER ART, PEOPLE.)
- joepopp17 november 2025This movie fits right in with the recent DC Universe! ...because it's garbage.
- Josh Shartzer7 september 2025My expectations were super low, so maybe that's why I didn't hate it. The kid and I laughed out loud several times.
- Ana Kaja Premerl7 september 2025Very bad. Just Look at the CGI. I prefer The Flash series.
- gibbens7 september 2025Not even Michael Keaton could save this film. Even if Ezra Miller hadn’t been grooming kids this movie would a flopped. I was so excited to see the 1989 Batman return and they just fumbled that entire thing. This movie doesn’t even feel like it’s part of the DC universe.
- Kain14 maart 2025not that bad! i think the ending was stupid especially after the leaks had a different actor. supergirl was pretty dope.
- Paul Schwartz31 maart 2025Kinda drawn out yet I did very much enjoy having Michael Keaton as batman
- ርልዪረ23 februari 2025A new Dc Comics movie. Having seen previous ones not least 'Batman Vs Superman' 'Aquaman' and 'Justice League' will help a lot, otherwise you might get a bit confused. This is a loose adaptation of a DC comics story from 2011 called 'Flashpoint.' In which the Flash - Barry Allen - tries to save his mother from being killed when he was a boy. But finds that tampering with time has consequences. He's stuck in the new timeline. Batman here looks a little different. Can he fix things and get back to his right time? I am a DC fan first and foremost, so I am a bit biased. Or maybe it means that I'm just prepared to give things a chance. Also to go to the cinema and enjoy myself. As a result, I loved this. One of the best live action superhero films I've seen. You know sometimes you see a film and you think they clearly got the script sorted first? This is one of those. Solid and it flows perfectly. It hits the ground running [no procession of production company logos]. Has a wonderfully paced opening sequence that tells you all you need to know. And whatever you think of Ezra Miller the person, Ezra Miller the actor is amazingly good here, showing someone who has been scarred by past trauma. Then playing a dual role and making both parts very distinct characters. It is a Flash movie first and foremost. With some Batman. Barry gets great emotional arcs and a heroes journey. It really considers what this new world would be like - one brilliantly funny scene - and an awful lot of it was clearly filmed live. I did think I recognised some of the locations. And I was right. There's not that much cgi apart from when he's running and only a little bit of back projection. Said cgi is actually quite good, and any bits the internet didn't like are actually blink and you'll miss it. Michael Keaton is superbly understated. It uses a certain bit of music to fabulous effect. It was also great to see a big battle scene where there was genuine jeopardy and it didn't feel as if anyone was safe. The whole film doesn't play out entirely as I expected it to. Which was a pleasant surprise. Sasha Calle also makes an impression as Supergirl. Would be nice to see more of her in the role. I also love getting to first performances of films, and discovering them for myself. That way you can avoid spoilers and be genuinely surprised. And this does that. Several times. Seriously avoid spoilers. Seriously. Thoroughly enjoyed this. Well worth a watch.
- agefamily25 augustus 2025Turn off brain and enjoy. Don't worry about the science or how movie relates to the comics
- neuroparadox29 juli 2025"8 stars!" Screams Jon Peters as he starts cumming uncontrollably after edging for nearly 25 years. 🤣😂
