- Rob MacKinnon22 juni 2025Watched for the #HDTGM podcast. I watched the 100 minute director’s cut. Apparently more surfing footage and fewer gratuitous boob shots. This movie is bonkers, with tons of hit or miss gags, and I found it kind of strangely fascinating. But the most insane thing about it is the soundtrack. Multiple Beach Boys songs, Oingo Boingo, Thomas Dolby, Split Enz and so many more actual songs. And Dick Dale performs on screen.

Watje Menlo Schwartzer is constant het mikpunt van de grappen en grollen van een groep surfers. De sportboys gaan te ver wanneer ze vrouwelijke hormonen in het drankje van Menlo gooien, waardoor zich bij deze borsten beginnen te ontwikkelen. Menlo laat zich hierdoor echter niet uit het veld slaan en brouwt in een geheim laboratorium een drankje dat iedereen tot een volgzame slaaf transformeert. Zodra hij genoeg volgelingen om zich heen heeft verzameld geeft hij zich op voor een surfcompetitie waar hij zal laten zien dat er met hem niet te spotten valt.
