The way he parodies Star Wars (and pretty much all of sci-fi) is just brilliant—from Yogurt to Dark Helmet, every character is ridiculous in the best way possible. 😂 This one has always been a personal fave—probably one of the better Brooks films in my opinion. The jokes still hit after all these years, and the timing? Chef’s kiss. If you’re into clever spoofs and want something that doesn’t take itself seriously at all, Spaceballs is a must-watch. Absolute classic! “Ludicrous speed… GO!

Rick Moranis steals the show as Dark Helmet, the cast has great chemistry, and the movie’s self-aware humor is genuinely clever. Not every joke lands, and some of it feels a bit dated, but overall it’s a super fun, highly rewatchable comedy classic
