The plot is barely there, the stakes are so low, the supporting characters are thinly sketched at best and the laughs are few and far between; it's just a lot of exhausting running around. Chase and Hawn have undeniable chemistry and Grodin is always a delight, but they're all wasted here. This feels like something Neil Simon dashed off in one weekend to satisfy a sudden gambling debt.
