And their obsession with likes and followers and thier validation to determine if they are leading a worthwhile life.
- Ajay17 februari 2026The return of Ghostface is quite good, honestly. This flick has more twists and turns than a rollercoaster, and it constantly keeps you guessing from start to finish. The great cast and improved cinematography help support a fresh(er) take on the story for the fourth installment, and it shows. The best part about SCRE4M is the total depravity it dives into, and that's exactly what I want to see from a horror movie.
- LivewireAdmin2 december 2025I've always said that this was my second favorite after the original but after re-watching the trilogy, I might give 2 the edge over 4. I still highly enjoy the characters in this one, the dialogue, the bonkers opening of Stab 5 being the opening of Stab 6 being the opening of Scream 4....amazing stuff. You also can't beat this one in terms of cameos—Lucy Hale, Anna Paquin, Kristen Bell, Aimee Teegarden, Heather Graham. The villain reveal gets a lot of hate (at least in my circles) but I always thought it worked. Craven did a great job of bringing Scream into the digital age, It's a shame we never got any more entries with him.

It successfully updates the series for a new generation while keeping the classic suspense and self-aware humor. Though not quite as groundbreaking as the original, it’s an entertaining slasher for both old and new fans.
