- LivewireAdmin2 december 2025Great movie but I can’t watch it now without thinking of all the jokes and gags in Scary Movie lol Matthew Lillard is so underrated.
- ርልዪረ8 oktober 2025Plot: The quiet town of Woodsboro is shaken when a masked killer known as Ghostface begins targeting high school students. Sidney Prescott, a teenage girl still traumatized by her mother’s murder a year earlier, becomes the main target. The film follows Sidney and her friends as they try to survive while unraveling the killer’s identity. Strengths: Clever & Self-Aware: Satirizes slasher film clichés while still delivering genuine suspense and scares. Iconic Villain: Ghostface is chilling, mysterious, and memorable, with clever use of a voice-modulated phone call. Strong Cast: Neve Campbell (Sidney), Courteney Cox, and David Arquette give strong, memorable performances. Suspense & Pacing: Builds tension masterfully, with well-timed jump scares and red herrings. Wes Craven’s Direction: Skillfully balances horror, humor, and meta-commentary. Weaknesses: Some Gore is Minimal: Compared to other 90s slashers, the gore is relatively restrained. Predictable for Horror Buffs: Viewers familiar with slasher tropes may guess certain twists, though the film plays with these expectations. Overall: Scream (1996) is a revolutionary slasher that revitalized the genre. It’s clever, suspenseful, and self-aware, combining horror, humor, and mystery. Ghostface remains one of the most iconic villains in horror cinema.

- David Alford26 oktober 2025The best slasher ever!
- andrew2 juli 2025my confusions of horror movies were abundant, but after watching this film i feel myself now enlightened to the narrative tools highlighted ironically in Scream. what shocked me most was not how self aware the movie was, but how it still managed to be a top in the slasher genre while being meta about it.
- Drake70727 mei 2025Fantastic movie. From the actors to the filming locations this movie is pure gold. I love seeing my home town and familiar shots in other places from my childhood. One of the best slasher franchises out there. All the Scream movies will always hold a special place in my heart.
- Kyle Bianchi7 oktober 2025"No, please don't kill me Mr. Ghostface, I wanna be in the sequel!" Scream was not the first horror movie I saw as a kid, but it was the most impactful. I'd seen Halloween, Friday the 13th, and more of the "classic" killer movies in the lineup, but when I was 9 or 10 in 1996 and Scream came out, nothing before it mattered. It's a genuinely great flick. Reinvigorating and reinventing the slasher genre for a new era at the time was amazing, and it still holds up incredibly well to this day.
- incorrectusername7 oktober 2025One of the best Horror slasher movies of all time!
- Adrià MA25 oktober 2025De les millors pelis de terror que et pots fotre una nit qualsevol si et molen els misteris i els "who-dun-it" o com es digui.
- Spencer MB2 oktober 2025One of my favorite horror flicks of all time. Juggles the tropes perfectly and satirizes with wreckless abandon. I hope the sequels aren't TOO bad.
