- TheMovieWall9 september 2026An artist and a writer from the UK come to America for the first time with the goal of touring alien hotspots. After they meet an actual real life alien shenanigans ensue. You can't get much better than this plot line for a fun time. Especially if your a nerd like me and love all things alien, writing, and art. The cast is great. You can't go wrong with Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Janson Bateman, Kristen Wiig, and Bill Hader and more. As well as Seth Rogan voicing the alien. It all comes together so well. It's goofy and the comedy hits for me. I've watched this more times than I can count and it has a solid spot in my movie collection.
- Jay Marie Bailey9 juli 2026Just an overall fun movie, Frost & Pegg are brilliant together as always, the one liners are great. CGI is great as well, genuinely think this era of CGI is the best there is. It is like a combination of The Blues Brothers & Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Clever casting for some of those cameo appearances considering previous roles they have been in. And so many film references it is crazy. Take a load off kick back and enjoy some very light hearted humour that doesn't attempt to take itself to seriously.
- Mark Aspin15 februari 2026Seen the movie a few times now, ,Simon Pegg and Nick Frost have a mates lads chemistry. Great movie.
- Zokkiie30 januari 2026This is a super laid-back sci-fi comedy that just wants to have fun, and it totally pulls it off. The jokes are dumb, nerdy, and surprisingly charming, with a bunch of legit laugh-out-loud moments. The friendship at the center gives it some real heart instead of feeling like just nonstop gags. It drags a tiny bit in the middle, but the good vibes make up for it. Overall, it’s a goofy, feel-good watch that’s perfect for a chill movie night
- stuhannaford26 december 2025It’s not overly funny, certainly not laugh out loud, but it has a good hearted feel to it throughout. Lots of nods to movies of old, but it never quite feels nostalgic enough. Some, if not a lot of the humour probably won’t sit well with a lot of audiences of a more ‘modern’ disposition, but will do enough to raise a smile from most at some point.
- Carli Justice13 december 2025So funny! A great spoof about alien invasion as well as human/alien interaction. I really enjoyed all of the lighthearted references to other iconic alien movies.
- ርልዪረ29 januari 2025👽Although Pegg and Frost did not have the help of Edgar Wright writing and/or directing this movie, it manages to capture alot of the flair from the Cornetto Trilogy. It clearly misses some of that "Wright-flair" but that does not make this movie much worse... just a bit different. Pegg and Frost are hilarious as always and the other actors are great aswell. Both funny and believable, at least for the kind of ridiculous comedy this is! Many laughs were had. If you like the Cornetto Trilogy (Shaun Of The Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World's End) you're very likely to enjoy this film!
- HairyPlexicles6 december 2025This has become one of my favourite films of all time. It's a quaint, feel-good road trip movie with great characters (Bateman is brilliant as ever), simple but enjoyable and entertaining storyline, and some wonderful actors involved. Paul steals the show. 8/10.
- thomasrogers7532 november 2025The unnecessary use of swear words in this movie was by far the best part lmao
- Mister Arn19 mei 2025If you like Nick Frost and Simon Pegg, then you will enjoy this movie. If you're looking for something special, you will be disappointed. However, if you catch a buzz before viewing, you will be pleasantly surprised.
- Taylor Sturge27 januari 2025It’s fine. That’s all it is, it’s fine. Nothing great, nothing bad, it’s just straight up fine. What a waste of Simon and Nick though.
- eopain17 januari 2025Unexpectedly funny. Really good movie!
