George Burns is perfectly cast as the Almighty—bringing a sharp, dry wit to the role that is impossible not to love. John Denver balances him out beautifully with an incredibly charming, earnest performance as the straight man. It is a wonderfully simple, lighthearted comedy that holds up remarkably well. I really enjoyed this small gem of a movie.
