- NonPlayableContent25 oktober 2025A movie to get the youth to understand the incompetence of the managers that you'll end up working for. That's why these movies work so well, relatable feelings in a quirky presentation.
- James Saenz20 november 2025i had a friend in elementary named aaron who looked like jeff fungus after mike and sully used the scream extractor on him. pale skin and puffed lips and glasses and everything. he was a super cool dude; we both loved star wars and reading and he’s the person who got me into the inheritance cycle series and for that i’ll always be grateful. i just could never tell him to his face that i thought he looked like jeff fungus because i felt bad about comparing the two of them constantly in my head. aaron, if you’re out there somewhere reading this, just know you’re like the cool version of jeff fungus. p.s. my friends and i watched this while playing tiny epic dungeons again and we finally won a game. the evil has been defeated. i can die now.
- Manuel Frangis16 april 2025I just watched Monsters, Inc., and I give it 5 out of 5 stars. This movie is a classic. No matter how many times I watch it, it still hits just as hard. It is funny, creative, emotional, and full of heart. It is one of those animated movies that doesn’t just look amazing — it feels timeless. Pixar really knocked it out of the park with this one, and it still stands as one of their very best. The whole concept is just genius. Monsters scare kids for a living, but not because they’re mean — it’s their job. The city of Monstropolis literally runs on children’s screams as energy. It’s such a wild and original idea, and the movie pulls it off perfectly. But then the twist comes: what if a kid isn’t actually dangerous like they all think? That’s where the story goes from fun to something really special. Mike and Sulley are one of the best duos in animated movie history. John Goodman as Sulley brings so much warmth and heart to the big, fluffy top scarer. You believe his friendship with Mike, and you feel how much he grows when he meets Boo. Billy Crystal as Mike Wazowski is just hilarious. He’s fast-talking, high-strung, and always trying to keep things under control — which, in this world, never really happens. Their chemistry is what makes the whole thing work so well. And Boo? Come on. She’s one of the most adorable animated characters ever. The way she says “Kitty,” her laugh, her whole personality — she brings so much heart to the movie. She’s not just there to be cute. Her bond with Sulley is what gives this movie its emotional power. That relationship is the core of everything, and it is what makes the ending hit as hard as it does. The worldbuilding in Monsters, Inc. is amazing. Every part of Monstropolis feels alive, from the factory floor to the apartment Mike and Sulley live in. The door warehouse scene? Iconic. The way the monsters travel through different doors into kids’ bedrooms is one of the coolest animated sequences I’ve ever seen. The design, the lighting, the pace — it’s just so well done. Even all the little background monsters are creative and funny. The humor still holds up too. It’s full of great lines, clever jokes, and visual gags that work for both kids and adults. It never feels like it’s talking down to the audience. Everything is done with so much care. Even the villain, Randall, is memorable — creepy, sneaky, and voiced perfectly by Steve Buscemi. And Roz? Just legendary. I give Monsters, Inc. 5 out of 5 stars because it does everything right. It’s heartfelt, funny, imaginative, and still looks amazing over 20 years later. It’s one of those rare animated movies that makes you laugh, makes you feel something real, and stays with you long after it’s over. Overall Monsters, Inc. is a near-perfect animated film. It has unforgettable characters, a super creative world, and a story that’s as emotional as it is fun. It’s one of those movies that reminds you why you fell in love with Pixar in the first place. I’ll never get tired of it and I always come back to it.
- itsb675 december 2025Classic Pixar. Goodman and Gibbs carry the emotion while Crystal keeps things light with his tight five from 82.
- Gianni Cavuoto25 november 2025What a great family movie. It turns everything upside down and backwards from what we think about monsters. Great jokes and very good voice acting from many of your favorite actors. James Coburn I think has the perfect voice and Jennifer Till comes on a very close second. No matter what DO NOT introduce this movie to a 3 year old unless you wanna watch it 163 times this month......but then agian most people reading did that to THEIR parents, didn't they?????
- Tegu01184 oktober 2025Reliving my childhood ❤️
- Eldon McGuinness14 maart 2025This is a playful and hilarious twist on common workplace complexities. It also takes you on a ride of learning to think outside of social norms. The overall message of fun and love being more powerful than fear is awesome and really sets a positive message for the little ones. The rendered animations are a nice middle ground between realistic and cartoony, which fits the hijinks and comedy of this film. The main characters are relatable to kids and adults alike, just trying to do their "jobs" when the unthinkable happens. A great family night movie!
