"Lugar Comum" (Common Place) is a documentary video conceived and produced by immigrants and refugees from Latin America, Africa and the Middle East upon their arrival in the city of São Paulo, Brazil, combined with the images captured by the director, Lucas Rached, during the war in Lebanon in 2006. The video proposes not only to discuss the situation of the immigrant anywhere in the world, but also register to the way in which the immigrant sees and portraits himself.
